    Biography

    Samantha Brook is the Associate Director, Supply Chain at Sun Tribe – a Charlottesville-based company which today serves as the largest provider of public sector on-site renewable energy in Virginia. In her role, Samantha manages partnerships and communications with Sun Tribe’s team and its suppliers. Samantha is also the lead of the Inclusion and Diversity Taskforce at Sun Tribe – an initiative to facilitate equity in Sun Tribe’s day-to-day work.

    Before her work on the Procurement Team, Samantha served as Associate Director, Client Partnerships at Sun Tribe. There Samantha helped lead the internal partnership and development strategy. She also headed Sun Tribe’s Request for Proposal (RFP) Response Team, which in 2019 was one of the winning bidders on the largest on-site public sector solar RFP in Virginia’s history.

    Prior to her time at Sun Tribe, Samantha served as the Netherlands-based Technical Account Manager for DigitalGlobe where she managed the development, launch, and maintenance of a new Global Terrain & Bathymetry Service. She also worked across DigitalGlobe’s worldwide sales and product teams and led RFP responses firm-wide.

    Previously, Samantha worked as the Energy Solutions Manager for Spatial Energy, where she served as a technical expert for the company’s data management and delivery platform. At Spatial, Samantha was responsible for maintaining relationships with over 60 energy companies across the globe.

    An engineer by training, Samantha started her career as an Assembly Engineer at Modular Robotics. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder’s School of Engineering and Applied Science.
