A licensed CPA and nationally-recognized finance executive, Olga Zelenova currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Sun Tribe – one of the fastest growing clean energy companies in the Mid-Atlantic United States – where she oversees the Asset Management, Project Finance, and Operations departments. A Bloomberg Expert Speaker on tax equity and opportunity zone structuring, she has also been recognized with the Top Accounting Executive Award by RecognizeDC.
Previously, Olga served as Vice President of Finance at Sol Systems, where she oversaw financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting, capital raising, and investor and banking relationships. At Sol, she was part of a leadership team responsible for growing the company from $20 million to $90 million in revenue.
Before joining Sol Systems, Olga served as an Accounting Manager at Silver Ridge Power (formerly AES Solar) where she oversaw a fleet of 350 solar projects in 9 countries and before that spent 5 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. She began her career being recognized by the Estonian Human Resource Management Association (PARE) for her early research on the employment of people with disabilities in her native Latvia.
She holds an MBA from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, completed the Executive Management Program at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, and holds a B.A. in International Business from Lakeland University.
